Our Maple ply
snares are available in 8 or 10 ply thickness. Available sizes are
10",12",13",14",15" diameters with depths of 4" thru 8". 15 ply maple,
maple/poplar and mahogany/poplar also available on request. Finish options
include a wide variety of wraps and gloss lacquer finishes.
Steambent birdseye maple
Our steam-bent snares start with raw shells made by the world's most renowned solid shell maker. They embody the full, rich sound of the classic drums of yesteryear, but with modern precision only available from Mayer Bros. Drums. Steam-bent drums are available in Maple (standard, curly, or birds-eye), Birch, Cherry, Walnut, and Mahogany. Both 13" and 14" diameter drums range from 4" to 7" in depth.
